La Crisis COVID-19 en Latinoamérica

Resumen
La crisis generada por la pandemia de Covid-19 ha puesto a todas nuestras sociedades en prueba. Sus efectos en Asia, Europa y Norteamérica nos han demostrado que esta situación tiene una magnitud difícil de prever, especialmente para países no preparados y sin experiencia en el manejo de epidemias y con limitados recursos económicos. Nuestro objetivo es presentarles una visión panorámica de los actores involucrados, sus principales proble-máticas y las oportunidades de acción que tienen nuestras comunidades para enfrentar esta realidad y atenuar sus consecuencias, a través de la organización y el uso eficiente de sus capacidades.
Recientemente, debido a la epidemia de Covid-19, nuestro instituto ha tomado acción inmediata en el prototipaje y la implementación de soluciones tecnológicas y organizacionales para responder a esta emergencia. Como patro-cinadores y participantes del Hacking Covid-19 (Hacking Health Camp 2020)1, hemos tenido la oportunidad de observar e identificar los proyectos que han tenido mejores resultados en cuanto a su facilidad de implementación y su potencial de éxito frente a esta situación compleja y desconocida. En este sentido, nos ponemos a disposición de nuestros países hermanos para compartir la experiencia ganada y los recursos desarrollados, y así poder apoyar solidariamente todas las iniciativas puestas en marcha por emprendedores.
Abstract
The crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic has put all our societies to the test. Its effects in Asia, Europe and North America have shown us that this situation is of a magnitude that is difficult to foresee, especially for countries that are unprepared and inexperienced in managing epidemics and with limited economic resources. Our objective is to present a panoramic view of the actors involved, their main problems and the opportunities for action that our communities have to face this reality and mitigate its consequences, through organization and the efficient use of their capacities.
Recently, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, our institute has taken immediate action in prototyping and implementing technological and organizational solutions to respond to this emergency. As sponsors and participants of the Hacking Covid-19 (Hacking Health Camp 2020)1, we have had the opportunity to observe and identify the projects that have had the best results in terms of their ease of implementation and their potential for success in the face of this situation. complex and unknown. In this sense, we make ourselves available to our brother countries to share the experience gained and the resources developed, and thus be able to support in solidarity all the initiatives launched by entrepreneurs. |
